Branch job/calendar-grid. DESIGN §39 (grill round 4): remove the activity lane; attachment thumbnails on event lines/cards; standalone files/photos/notes as scaled thumbnails at their time; photos by date taken (setting: date added); popover shows the entry's own time, time zone only when different; zoom in Day/Week (pinch, Cmd+scroll, Cmd +/-), 24-160 px/hour anchored at the pointer, opacity-only detail tiers, one CSS variable, 60 fps measured; continuous horizontal day scroll with snap to the nearest day; adversarial cases (DST, 50 overlaps, 100 photos/min, 320 px, 200%).

Resuming job/calendar-grid from dev at 7c1d6c82ea. The branch was clean at start (HEAD 9d92f8a2ca) and contains 16 commits ahead of dev. I am auditing §39, the #134 changes, and all requested gates before continuing.

Calendar E2E found a keyboard navigation defect: waitForURL: Timeout 30000ms exceeded while waiting for /calendar/month/2026-09-26; the page stayed at /calendar/week/2026-09-24. The route handler returns for every [role=tablist], while Calendar Tools advertises 3 for Month. I am narrowing that guard to unrelated tablists and adding a regression that focuses the Week tab before pressing 3.

Calendar E2E now passes the Today/Month/Year shortcut sequence, then finds a resize-during-glide defect in §39: after clicking Next week and resizing to 1100×760, aligned() (abs(scrollLeft / --colw - round(...)) < 0.02) did not become true within 6 seconds; the run failed with a resize during the glide left the grid between days. I am changing the glide target to a stable day index and settling it after a column-width change.

Resize repro isolated the cause: at virtual day index ~1007 after 1440→1100 resize, JS used --colw: 98.14px while Chromium laid out grid tracks at 98.125px. The accumulated 15px difference made scrollLeft / --colw equal 1006.847, although the visible header/day edge differed by only 0.125px. The grid now reads the actual interval between adjacent header cells for scroll math; the same real-server repro reports --colw: 98.125px and ratio 1007.001 (within the 0.02-day snap tolerance).

The production layout sweep checked 172 screens. Its calendar grid checks did not report failures, but the run exited 1 in the §38 header sweep on nine collapse/expand cases: file/calendar header blur and row movement at 1440, expansion after scrolling on Files/Recent/Tags, and collapse/expand on Agenda/Month/Notes at 390. It also reported two non-blocking icon warnings (Settings → Account “Signed-in devices”; Settings → AI “Agents”). I am rerunning the header checks alone to isolate timing versus behavior.

The collapse-only header sweep reproduced delayed measurements under shared-host load. A real-server Files page did scroll to window.scrollY=420 and set .mode-header.collapsed; at 500 ms the blur transition was still at opacity 0, and at 1.5 s it reached 1. The sweep used a fixed 250 ms settle after the scroll stopped, so it sometimes read before the rAF update and transition. I changed the sweep to wait up to 5 seconds for the expected collapsed/expanded state and blur endpoint before measuring. The isolated collapse sweep now reports checked 0 screens and LAYOUT SWEEP PASSED; the full sweep remains to be rerun.
