Merge-round audit docs/audits/merge-round-7b5.md records 19,139 scoped sites in round 4 and 19,340 in the 7b5 combined ledger: 451 removed and 652 added, a net increase of 201. The sharing branch had no performance adoption metadata, so the new entries do not claim measured budgets or implemented bounds. The audit names the missing bounds, tests, readiness predicates and profiles. See lines 26 and 423.

Expected work

Review this initial coverage increase in the periodic performance round. For the new sites, identify the owning hot paths and decide which need a documented bound, test, readiness predicate or profile. Measure only the paths that need measurement, then update the ledger with evidence. Keep all access, session and accessibility checks in force.

This is a follow-up. The merge round does not block on performance adoption, and it did not measure these paths.

Merge 7c2 performance guard evidence (#867): 3,244 inherited entries have an exact current symbol (or one same-function, same-callee site) and the same limit; pins were updated without changing owner, expiry or replacement test. 217 entries have no exact matching current site and were removed with reduced ratchet ceilings. Exact before/after evidence is docs/audits/merge-round-7c2-perf-pins.json. The check now parses and validates its ledger, then reports perf-lint: FAIL; 3202 violations; 19123 scoped exceptions. No blanket exception was added. New Canvas/history and integrated code paths need adoption evidence under their existing performance owners. Guard tests: Ran 130 tests in 0.037s, OK. This finding remains visible and prevents a clean web check.
